We're very excited this week as two of BeGolden's products made it into the glamorous Kitchens, Bedrooms, Bathrooms magazine (November edition). They have a gorgeous feature on metallic home accessories called Bronze Age - let your home dazzle this autumn with shimmering metallics in bronze, gold and rich copper shades. The products featured are our gold brass toothbrush holder and cotton wool pot. It's certainly the season for introducing some golden accessories into your home, so hopefully this will inspire more people to take a look at our shimmering range.

Such a Pretty Ring!

We've just got the new collection of Lucas Jack Gold Button Rings and the pink one is absolutely divine. The colour of the stone is just like raspberry sorbet and it goes so well with the gold. I took this photo out in the garden and am so pleased that it really captures the beauty of it. (Photography is all new to me and I am swiftly turning quite nerdy about it)

BeGolden celebrates 1st Anniversary

Bobby, Lorraine & Kate Celebrate 1st Anniversary

We celebrated the first anniversary of BeGolden on Saturday night and above is the photo and champagne to prove it. An evening of laughter shared with our husbands celebrating our first year. Food, wine, gifts, toasts and a quiz to test our memories (including.....what was our biggest single order, which product is our best seller, what was the name of the driver who braved the snow to deliver emergency stock in time for us to fulfil last minute Christmas orders?) - all made the evening one to remember. We celebrated a great first year of trading online and talked about the many plans and aspirations we have for the years ahead. We are looking forward to continuing to delight and inspire our customers with many more gorgeous, new golden products.

Preparing for the Christmas Shopping Season at BeGolden

Christmas comes early in online retail and so at BeGolden we are getting ready. We are currently taking delivery of our new gold product ranges - including new gold kitchenware and homeware, a new gold jewellery range and gorgeous gold Christmas decorations - as well as planning our marketing campaigns. It's a busy time for all of us. Bobby is exercising her photographic skills, Kate is getting the website ready and Lorraine is chanelling her efforts into PR. Things are falling into place.......we're delighted with the BeGolden design update. Dominic, our designer has given us a fresher home page design - something that is still distinctly us (gold and beautiful!), but cleaner and lighter in execution. We've also been really encouraged by the reaction to our PR efforts - a number of magazines have contacted us for product samples including Elle Decoration, Good Housekeeping, Living etc, Kitchens, Bedrooms & Bathrooms so we are crossing fingers and toes that we will get coverage in their Christmas editions. We'll keep you posted on progress over the coming weeks.
