Turkey with the Midas Touch

This picture and recipe on the BBC website caught our eye - a gold plated turkey to bring sparkle to the Xmas dinner table. All you need to do is cook your turkey as normal and then gild it with 25 small sheets of 25K gold leaf! That's all, and the turkey is still edible....Not so sure about the green stuff around it though. Thanks to Tanya for alerting us to this great recipe.
